My crafty bug has left the building so i'm trying to get it back by doing one or 2 craftymess'ers daily challenges, todays theme was "anything goes" but needs to be red and gold!
I made a Christmas tag featuring the penguin embellishments Lou got me back from the U.S
The ribbon has a working jungle bell attached too!
The picture doesn't fo it's justice but it has the cute factor!
The aforementtioned desk i found from the Range, is on its way to being returned, I am a good flat pack builder but thus was just shockingly poor!
The surface was starting to come away from the corky inside bit as i had just begun to build, as i tried to progress it was just getting worse so i have dismantled and now returned it.
Back to square one. Still need to move stuff into the craft room, and desk hunt again, hmmmm
When shall the crafting begin!!!
I now have a 3 drawer chest of drawers and a 4 drawer mesh unit to use as craft storage!
I have found this desk i will be getting and building soon!
Will start moving craft stuff into the craft room to be tomorrow!
Crafty Shopping list:
I have been and still am looking for furniture and storage to turn a room into a craft room!
I have been looking on freecycle and the like for a table and chairs and shelving units and other storage for a while now without any luck.
This next week I am determined to have made a start. I did at one point use the room as a craft room, then mum wanted it so got rid of the table and now she doesn't and i'm table less.
I do have a chest of drawers I need to free up and in time have everything at easy access/on display!
Car boots would be a good place to look but I don't have any transport!
At the moment the majority of my craft stuff is downstairs on a book case which I want free from craft stuff for more books!
Craft Room shopping list:
I have a birthday card to make for one of my friends for the weekend but I don't know where my crafty bug has gone, i haven't even used the Keep Calm stamps i bought at the craft show last month or than stamping some images up! .
might use them on the birthday card!
i have been browsing challenge blogs and got waylaid by MelJen Designs after seeing this digi image on an entrants card!(entry 27) i have bought 3 of their penguin stamps!!!
you know how much i love penguins!
It has also been a while since i won a prize via my crafts so i need to change this!
on another note i have been designing posters to sell as PDF files for customers to print and/or get made into canvases! site is in the making!

So . . . on Saturday i went to the "Summer Crafting" show at my local (Doncaster) Racecourse, courtesy of their facebook page i got lucky and won free tickets ....
that and it cost me 75p return via train and a free courtesy bus to the race course because of the event!
The weather was good and i took a list and i got everything on it, Winner!

I have this year designing little ATC's which are Artist Trading Cards, they are little cards you can swap and exchange with other ATC makers but not sell, there are a few rules to abide by when making ATC's which are:
use good quality card so ink doesnt bleed through
dimensions must not exceed 2.5x3.5 inches or 64x89 mm
the topper cant be too thick either as crafters may store them in sleeves.
